What this site collects

The calculators run in your browser. The numbers you type into them are not sent to us and are not stored on a server.

We keep aggregate traffic counts — which pages were viewed, from which country, on what kind of device. We do not build profiles and we do not sell data.

Your choices

You can clear this site's local storage from your browser at any time without losing access to anything. If you want to ask what we hold about you, write to [email protected].

Cookies and local storage

We use local storage to remember your own preferences, such as the last values in a calculator. Those stay in your browser.

If you follow a link to a broker, that broker sets its own cookies under its own policy, which we do not control. Read theirs before you register.

Common questions

What does Laguna Basics collect when I visit the site?

The site collects what a normal web server records, such as the pages you open and basic device and browser information, plus anything you type into the contact form. We do not ask for your broker login, your GCash number, your bank details or your account balance, and you should never send them to us.

Do the calculators store the numbers I enter?

The position size, pip value, margin, profit and pivot point calculators run in your browser to produce a result. They are there to do the arithmetic on figures you supply, such as a 0.10-lot gold position at a reference price near 4275.0, and they are not a place to enter personal or account information.

Does the site use cookies or tracking?

The site may use cookies for basic function and for measuring which pages are read, and affiliate links may set their own cookies when you click through to a broker. Those broker cookies are governed by the broker's privacy policy, not ours, so read that policy before you open or fund an account.

What happens to the message I send through the contact form?

It is kept so the desk can read it and reply, and it is not sold. Do not include sensitive details such as account numbers, ID scans or funding references. If your message is about a correction, the page address and the sentence are enough for us to act on it.

Is my information shared with FxPro or anyone else?

No personal details from the contact form are passed to FxPro. If you click an affiliate link and open an account, you deal with the broker directly and its own privacy policy applies from that point. Laguna Basics does not see or hold your account data, deposits or trading history.
